The Quintet is available to perform a number of program formats to satisfy the needs of various audiences including school groups, community concert organizations, and professional musicians’ and teachers’ conventions.
In formal concerts, the Pacific Arts Woodwind Quintet performs full-length programs of musical works in contrasting styles. When presenting informal concert/clinics in schools, the Quintet usually performs a variety of short selections representing numerous composers and styles, interspersed with brief discussions on the performance problems (and their solutions) encountered in performing chamber music. This type of concert, usually thirty to forty-five minutes in length, may be followed by individual clinic sessions on the various instruments.
